In school I was pretty much the typical tomboy - always playing sports at break time. That is, until I began to grow into a young woman and started to get lots of nasty remarks from a few girls. This jealousy didn't faze me however, and at 18 I started taking part in beauty pageants - my first being Miss Bikini World then Miss England followed by Miss Great Britain and a trip to China as part of a world wide pageant. These events definitely prepared me for the modelling world!!!

I was spotted by a top model agency and taken onto their books. We had a close relationship and slowly work started to come in. I remember Steve Lewis said to me 'do you mind waiting whilst I pop out for a second?' before disappearing from the room. When he came back he told me the Sun had just made me their latest page 3 lady and that I would be getting my first ever contract. I was so excited and I felt on top of the world! A short while after I knew that to succeed I needed more personal management - someone I could work very closely with - so I moved to Girl Management where the lovely Dana Malmstrom and Adam Sutherland took fantastic care of me. That's when things really started to take off, I was working a lot more with big shoots for magazines such as Zoo and Maxim etc. To my surprise, Zoo magazine took a liking to me and I was offered my second contract with them. I really couldn't believe things were going so well and all the things I once dreamed of were coming to life. Although I am lucky to have one of the most exciting jobs in the world, I will say this: it took a lot of hard work and at times it was a struggle, but if you have a passion and have heart in what you do then you will get everything you wish for. In the near future I hope to have been on the cover of every glamour industry magazine and to have succeeded in all my future goals.

There are a few people I would like to thank: My Mom - for bringing me up to be the young respectable lady I am. Things were never easy but we always managed and we came through together. I am so proud of you. My Dad - you have been my rock throughout everthing and always stuck by me even when you didn't agree with some of the things I did. You are my hero and I look up to you. Dana, Adam and all at Girl - together we have come a long way. (I know I need to come in more though!) Let's keep on to the top!!!! All at Zoo and the Sun - thanks for seeing a little star in me and always keeping me on my toes. I hope to work with you both for a good while yet!!!! To all my friends and other members of my family thanks for listening to me when times were hard and I gave you earache over the phone. Without you none of this would have been possible.
